Certified Data Analysis Professional Programme Delivered for SABIC

SABIC is one of the world's largest petrochemical companies, a majority-owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, and one of the Kingdom's most important industrial organisations. Real Hands-On was engaged to build data analysis capability within SABIC's performance management and business analytics function.

Industry-Specific Customisation

The programme was customised for the petrochemical manufacturing context: data analysis techniques applicable to production performance, quality control analytics, supply chain efficiency measurement, and safety performance reporting. SABIC's own data structures and reporting challenges were used as the basis for all hands-on exercises.

Data Analysis for Manufacturing Excellence

Day one and two covered the analytical methods most relevant to manufacturing: statistical process control basics, trend analysis for production KPIs, root cause analysis using the 5-why and fishbone diagram methodologies combined with data, and comparative benchmarking against industry performance standards.

Dashboard Design for Operations

Day three focused on visualisation and dashboard design. Participants built an operational performance dashboard incorporating SABIC's core metrics: production output vs plan, quality rate, energy efficiency, safety incident rate, and maintenance performance. Power BI was used for the primary dashboard design.
