Certified KPI Practitioner — Multiple Sessions for Saudi Aramco

Saudi Aramco — the world's largest oil company by revenue and production — has been a Real Hands-On client for multiple years. The partnership began with an initial C-KPI Practitioner cohort for the corporate strategy function and has expanded to include multiple business lines across the Aramco enterprise.

Programme Scope and Adaptation

The Certified KPI Practitioner programme goes beyond the standard C-KPI Professional curriculum with deeper focus on KPI governance, data architecture for large organisations, and the integration of KPI systems with enterprise performance management platforms. For Aramco, the programme was further adapted to address: the unique complexity of measuring oil & gas operational performance, safety and environmental KPI design, and the integration of financial, operational, and sustainability KPIs.

Session Delivery Model

Each session was delivered at Aramco's Dhahran headquarters, with cohorts of 15–25 professionals from the sponsoring business unit. Pre-programme consultations with the business unit's performance manager ensured that case studies and workshop exercises reflected the unit's specific KPI challenges. Post-programme consulting support was provided for 60 days to support KPI deployment.

Outcomes Across Sessions

Across the multiple sessions, Aramco has built a certified community of KPI practitioners embedded across its key business units — creating the internal capability to design, validate, and report KPIs without external consultancy dependency for routine performance measurement work.
